Forge World has lots of legion shoulder pads, but I'm pretty sure those will look weird on my mkVII marines. GW has three sets available for Crimson fists, one with 10 pads, and two with 5 pads, heads and backpacks. The 10-pack is the cheapest, but from what I can see they do t have any trim? And I've heard they might be a bit small? What about the other two? Although at 5 pads a pack, it'll be pretty expensive to outfit my entire army...

MK IV or MK VI will both work perfectly fine on MKVII armor. MK IV has narrower trim then MK VII shoulder pads, but it shouldn't be to big of a deal. Have you looked at their brass sheets?

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

Thanks, although I would like the trim to match. MKVI are trimless right? Maybe that would be better than different sized trim... I usually ignore etched brass because they tend to be very expensive, I'll take a look!

FWIW, the brass etch sheets are 11 pounds and the packs of 10 shoulder pads 10 pounds...

So if you already have blank shoulder pads, the brass etch are quite a bit cheaper!
