Hello everyone, with the release of the current Skitarii and Mechanicum books I have been inspired to do a force of these guys to go along with my Elyisna Drop Troops to complete the Imperial Faction of my 40k armies. The idea behind this army is one that can potentially play with my Elysians if I decide that I want to run them jointly, therefore I will be taking advantage of the "Flesh Tearers Strike Force" Detachment found in the Shield of Baal Campaign Book in order to do this. Not only does this give me an excuse to field lots of Razorbacks (one of my favorite vehicles in the game) but also to do it utilizing the Skitarii! This is my first attempt at this list so please let me know what you guys think and thanks for posting!

Definitely a different take on this list, as most players tend to go with the Drop Pods over the Razorbacks. But I like it, as it is something different and you do have a lot of firepower from the start. For the BA Allies, might consider possibly trying to field a cheap Priest w/a Jump Pack and a Command Assault squad. Only say that as your army lacks a real designated CC unit.

If I was going to change anything about it, I would consider maybe swapping out the Razorbacks for Drop Pods and use any leftover points to fill out your squads. Have seen that tactic work out very well with the Skitari as it allows them to get close right off the bat and unleash hell.

Other then that I like the list a lot. Reminds me of the Old-School Castellan Crowe list that the Grey Knights used to run back when it was effective.

I like your list, it looks like a lot of fun. I do feel that you are light on objective secured units, making it hard to do well in objectives games. Plus MSU is vulnerable in kill points games, so you're struggling on both ends there. An alternative would be to go for chimeras or tauroxes instead of razorbacks. The change is guns is significant, but I feel like the chimera's AV 12 obsec is a pretty sweet deal as is the points savings on both it and the taurox. You could go either with forward sentry vets or with a blob who takes transports anyway. It's not cheap points wise, but I feel that it solves two problems pretty elegantly.

I'd consider a bunker for the destroyers.

If you're running Elysians anyway, I'd love to hear a report some time on skitarii jumping out of Valkyries.

A CAD by definition requires 2 troops. This is not a CAD but a flesh tearers detachment.
