Question is pretty much in the title.

There is a lot of talk around me about this type of roster.
Main issues is that psychic power of it is still not enough and it is bad against MSU tactics and Maelstorm Of War in general.

Your opinions about that type of army?

I'm looking forward to pick Centstar up as my own competitive roster, but I'm not really sure. Feedback from experienced CentStar players about its current position would be appreciated very much.

I think it is still a strong deathstar list. But it is more about what is the rest of the army. You may well need some low price Objsec units on the broad in addition to the Draigo-Cent-Star, such as a bunch of infiltrating scouts, land speeder storms, MSU bikers, droppod 5men melta gun tactical squads, etc. While your deathstar do the killing of larger MCs or Tanks, these units do the job of claiming VPs and pick up fragile (those lack 4+ or better saves) units or some specific thing that grav cannot handle, such as bunkers with a key unit inside or VSG.

Generally speaking, I agree with what JY2 had mentioned elsewhere: a death star unit should just be around 50% of the points or so of the entire army.

4 Cents, Tigurius, 2 Libbys and Draigo is a whooping 1035 points, leaving next to no points to play with, if we speak of regular formats of 1500-2000. And that's not even taking troops tax into account,

Cheap scoring is good, but it's a dead scoring all the time. It's much easier to kill these scouts, bikes etc. than Invisible T5 2+ Death Star. Enemy will focus everything else in your army and shut it down.

Centstar needs something that can also do its job while not being around - that is killing stuff with good AV, campers and all things like that. The only really durable and mobile unit I can think about is NDK, which is commonly found in these rosters. There is next to no alternative for them, am I correct?
