I'm settling on doing an Alpha Legion army featuring lots of imperial tech.  The concept is that they work within Imperial space and want to pass as a legitimate chapter whenever possible.  Their inhumanly clever name: THE INFILTRAITORS!  Yeah, I'm sure a dozen of you haven't thought of that before.  Anyhoo, I'm using tac marine bodies and I want to make sure everything will fit together.

Do the WFB chaos warrior heads need any adjustment to fit marine bodies?

Are terminator powerfists way bigger than the plastic power armor ones?  I like their poses better and I think you can get them cheap now (thanks, bwbits.com).  I'm thinking of trimming off the cable and replacing a tac marine forearm with just the gauntlet.

Will tac marine arms have any trouble fitting around chaos bolters?

Finally, how insanely out of scale are the plastic Imperial Guard heavy bolters?  I've been thinking about having my marines carry them around.  Is it totally ridiculous?  Will I need to go up to a 40mm base and give it a bipod to make it work?

EDIT: Will a regular marine head fit into the terminator body?  If yes, is it a lot of work?  I'm probably going to try to make a plastic obliterator.

Thanks.

Dakka on World of Warcraft:

MANNAHNIN: I know two guys who have had to quit the game cold turkey because the time investment required by it caused problems with their family life.

JFRAZELL: So in other words, nature is self selecting out those not fit to survive and breed? Hail WOW replacing savannah lions since 1997...

Da Southern New Hampshire!

Marine bolters and Chaos Bolters are pretty much the same.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.
