Subject: Imperial Knights in other Imperial Detachments?

I'm late to the Imperial Knight party. Is it only possible to field Imperial Knights within the Detachments and Formations within the 2015 Imperial Knight codex?
I thought they could also be included as Lord of War choices within other Imperial detachments like a Combined Arms Detachment? Or did the 2015 codex end that?

New Codex Ended that; they are now only within their Own detachments(which is no issue in 7th anyways)

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

The BRB changed that.
It is true that a CAD or many other detachments allow for a LOW, but each model in a detachment must all have the same faction. Since an Imperial Knight is of the Knight faction, you cannot put it in a Space Marine detachment (for example).
It's not all bad news, though. Since you can include any number of detachments in your army (barring tournament or local play group restrictions), you can still include any number of Knights alongside any other army. They won't get the Command Benefits of the SM or whatever other detachment, but they will get whatever Benefits the IK codex offers.
Hope that helps!

Well, many tournaments restrict to two or three detachments. I was looking for a way around that.
Thank you all for clearing that up!

Small point, but there is no blanket rule stating detachments must be composed of only units from one faction. It does apply to most detachments, but it is detachment-specific as to whether or not all units within must be one faction.

In fact there are two Formations that are of mixed Faction, if I remember right. One that combines Cult Mechanicus, Skitarii, and Imperial Knights from a WD datasheet, if I heard right. Also, the new Start Collecting for the Skitarii has a Cult Mechanicus Character in it, I believe. (I am not familiar with their models.)
However, this shows more how uncommon it is than any actual other standard. All the Role Detachments, like the CAD, I am aware of do operate as one Faction detachments, though.
