I am fairly new to 40k so i will be glad for any advice i can get. Just to give everyone some context my sole opponent so far has been running the death korps of krieg assault brigade, bringing along a culexus assassin ( Hence the lack of Librarians ) His goal typically is to bubble wrap his tanks to ward off my tank buster squads. My plan here is to drop the command squads turn 1 and burn as many infantry as i can to clear a route to the tanks, second turn drop the sternguard and take out some high priority targets. ( Medusa, Command tank, etc )
The tac squads and assault squad in razorbacks securing objectives as well as being a threat to both infantry and armour
Devastators to cover back objectives and lay down str 9 ap1 shots
Dreadnought playing a similar role
Speeders to deepstrike most likely, destroy high priority target.

Almost all of the infantry come back with forlorn hope, and being krieg don't run from shooting phase casualties which is why most of the army is antitank. ( As well as 50% + of the enemy list being armour )
( i also now realise the vanguard have no transport and may have to drop some points elsewhere to make up for it )

We die, though our war is eternal,
We are doomed, but we walk in darkness,
We are forgotten, yet the future is our gift to humanity.

Welcome to Dakka,

You may have a better response by putting this in the right subforum, there is a 40k Army lists one for this exact type of question.
