Someone ask me to open a new threads to talk about our project so i'm here :

Hi

I'm Romain,

one of the guys behind the KS and I'm available to reply to your questions if you want me to do so !

Our terrain is fully modulable with great textures. If you have a 3D printer (or have access to one, or want to buy one) then it's time to take the plunge for great real 3D printed terrain !

We design our models for entry level printer at about 200€, that will give you very good results, you won't have a better result with an expansive printer. The only important parts when choosing one is to have a printing volume of at least 15x15x10cm.
Regarding the costs involved, a complete printed 2 level house represents approximatively 120g of ABS or PLA, at the cost you can buy it right now that's less than 3€ and with hiqh quality premium filament, divide by 2 if you choose to use standard imported stuff instead.

You can also print our models at a fablab or maker/hackerspace for almost nothing, look for one near you I'm sure that you will find one !

Hi everyone !

We have received a lot of questions from people who don't have a 3D printer yet but who were interested by our files that's why we have found a solution :

We are proud to announce you that we have secured a partnership with the French startup Dagoma and are now able to propose you a special pack including all the files in the Eccentric Engineer pledge and an affordable quality 3D printer : the Discovery200 for only 450€ (plus shipping).

Down Under

I like this concept, just no way near having a 3d Printer just yet.

Glory is fleeting. Obscurity is forever.
