Hey guys, so I'm playing in an escalation league that has the bonus of being able to pick and keep your warlord trait at the beginning of the league all the way till the end.
Im playing Orks in this and have narrowed down my decision to 2, but am unsure of which will play the long game better. My thinking is that my warlord will be a Warboss on a bike to get to the fight faster, and to be speedy enough to cover what needs to be.
My choice is between:

Coordinated assault: warlord has a 12 inch bubble that gives all friendlies rerolls of 1s in the assault phase. Im considering this one because who doesn't want to reroll a bucket of dice? And it would make my boyz that get up there that much more potent.

My other is: Bellowing tyrant, which gives another 12 inch bubble of rerolling failed morale. I know that morale is a huge issue with orks with armywide LD7 for the most part. And the whole "stop hitting yourself" that is the mob rule now.

Either one is easily moved around the board with my bike boss. And each applies to units within the bubble, so i can Congo line if i need/can.

Thanks in advance!

What's left of Cadia

I would personally say bellowing tyrant. With how Orks have issues with leadership being able to have those re-rolls is crucial imo. Especially with how punishing mob rule can be.

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

How many points does your league start at? If points allow then building an Ork Warband/Great Waaagh!-band that gives waaagh! every turn after the first or every turn and selecting the Prophet of the Waaagh warlord trait would be very useful. Failing that I think Immovable Object or Master of Ambush could be useful. Out of your two options above Bellowing Tyrant is probably the best, but as we have both Zagstruk and Grukk who come with that trait anyway it seems a bit of a wasted opportunity.

The league starts at 500 and goes up by 250 each round. As far as i know, we're going for the story of your band, so unique characters can't be the warlord. Im going to be making my list, as it goes up, bikes and trukk boyz with armor, so I'm looking more towards something that gives me buffs around to everyone.

Bellowing tyrant, without even a shred of doubt. Rerolling 1s in combat will make the choppa boys about 18% more effective, which is a buff the orks don't desperately need.

Morale check failures happen almost half the time, and every reroll prevents a lot of damage from mob rule, and sweeps. Works against enemy shooting and CC.
