Subject: Master Beatsmash Irond Hand vs All-Dar Freakshow! - 2000 pts video battle report
We have all heard of the gorgon chain clan raukan iron hands master. What's best is when they roll +1 FNP ... And this one did. Watch as the leadership shenanigans of the All-Dar (dark Eldar, Eldar , Harlequind and corsairs!) a coalition of one spirit faces off against the machine marines.
Clan raukan used to be a top contender in some competitive scenes... Are white scars just that good that they trump all? Like... Even my friends salamanders are now "white scars"...
I think within the context of Maelstrom of War and the sheer mobility needed to capture/contest objectives, White Scars simply have the best tools and chapter tactics available of getting the most out of all the phases in the game. With Hit and Run, things like Grav Cents can't be tied in combat forever and your other units have a chance of escaping combat and leaving enemy units wrong-footed and ready for another round of shooting and overwatch. Then you throw in increased survivability with skilled rider and the White Scars relic like the Hunter's Eye which flat out ignores enemy cover and its hard to compete with since practically everything in your army gets a crazy amount of buffs, vs. Clan Raukan where you have a relatively durable army but you put more or less all your eggs in one basket with smashfether which can't be everywhere at once. And as your game demonstrated, once you neutralize that main threat the game was essentially over.

A stock 3+ re rollable is so much better than a termies point value, add in movement, toughness 5 and th rapid fire plasma as well as the rending hammers.
Oh they're definitely much better than termies, but almost any other type of biker in the game is way cheaper than them, so BK's will generally be in smaller numbers than other bikes

To be honest, I stopped watching once you made the Command Squad run off the table on turn 2. I'm sure there was some maneuvering afterwards, but your opponent lost 400-500 points in the psychic phase early on, game is pretty much over.
No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Sarignar - Yup! That was the case... I was not expecting that to happen... but then he rolled like a 17" on the fall back move and the bike squad was OFF!
I wish I had the time to film multiple battle reports and then release the most entertaining ones to the public... sadly with my time constraints it means that what happens in the batrep stays in the batrep.
The tactical corner at the end of each batrep is worth watching tho!
