When a unit that has already died and already came back (through Master of the Horde) dies again, do I roll to see if the unit comes back a second time?
The rule says : «whenever an individual Renegade Infantry Squad bought as part of the same army etc. ». One could say that the «unit identical to the unit removed» was not itself «bought as part the same army».
IMO, I can roll again, but I must admit it's a little bit overpowered. In the end, it depends on the sense one gives to «bought» and on the extension one gives to the word «identical». (In an e-mail, FW said that the unit still has Objective Secured if it had it.)
What do you think?
Thank you!

Thats kinda the point of it... You keep them coming back. I dont see the problem being in what lies within the argument of something identical not being identical for balance purposes, I see the problem as believing that it shouldn't, but is, and how you want it to, as the issue.
Identical = Identical.
Otherwise KDK would suffer from the same general problem with things like Bloodletters coming into play from the Blood Tithe table being Identical but not really because it would be unfair =/ it is what it is and anyone who really over analyzes it, would simply be doing so to aggravate the situation of an already imbalanced game.

Unless the rule states this can only happen once (or any other set numbers of times), then the only limit is time.

You also fort got the whole "number x models at the start of play" portion of the rule. The "cloned"models weren't there at the start of play, they don't receive the benefit.

@Cyvash
I see what you mean. Good insight.
I guess it could be said that the purpose of this sentence is obvious though: it's not to limit the «resurrection», it's to say that it doesn't work on 10-man squads for example. The «start of the play» clause qualifies «numbering at least 15 models»; it's not per se a general restriction.

A singke unir us unlikely to return twice. An identical unit us placed in reserves. That means the unit will need to pass a 3+ reserve roll or wait until turn 4. With 15+ wounds and the option to use the stubborn USR via the chaos sigil, evrn a strong attack wobt necessarily wipd out the unit in one player turn.
When a respawnend unit pops onto the table it cannot attack and the heavy weapons count as moved. That makes it less threatening.

Chaos sigil is just an auto pass of the test, not stubborn. It is an amazing piece of wargear.
Like others said, unending host is just constant +2 they enter reserves. What is better is they can come back with outflank. So load them up with melta/plasma. I would suggest 15 strong units wielding grenades, militia training, 1 sigil, and 2 special weapons (melta or plasma) Bring 150 infantry or so, fill the rest of your list with artillery and chaos spawn.
Take The Purge as a second detachment for tons of chaos spawn and artillery for a cheap tax of another command sqaud. Artillery is a great place to hide your warlord! It does seem very powerful, but unfortunately you need over 100 infantry, and a lot of time to run this list. It's pretty difficult due to how much moving and dice rolling, and it can be rough to find an opponent if you are on a tight schedule. This is an army that you spend all saturday playing someone with while having a good time. They have fun because they get to kill over 100 renegades, you have fun because you get to bury them in corpses. You both spend 12 hours getting to turn 4.
