Subject: looking for someone to teach me blood bowl

so I recently picked up a copy of tabletop bloodbowl and have really been enjoying playing it, so much so that I bought blood bowl chaos edition in the humble bundle sale a couple of weeks ago as I don't get to play tabletop blood bowl as much as I would like. however upon playing the game (on easy) I discovered that I'm not as good as the bots which is pretty embarrassing and can be a little frustrating at times. This got me wondering if anyone would be able to teach me in-game, I know all the rules etc however I'm severely lacking in the tactics department and would love a bit of help. I'm currently interested in playing high elves and humans as those are the tabletop teams I own. I have tried some of the more forgiving teams such as orks however I found them infuriating to play with as they are too clumsy and slow, just in case anyone suggests trying an easier team.

Usually any time after 5pm on most days, you can find me on steam as Glasdir if you want to add me on there.
In game chat will have to do if that is ok as I don't have a mic for my computer.

One piece of advice I can give you is to consider whether to mark (i.e. stand next to) your opponents or not. If you mark your opponents, you limit their mobility (since they have to dodge out of your tackle zones to move) and their ability to handle the ball. If you don't mark your opponents, you limit their ability to attack you (since they can only make a single Blitz each turn).
Generally speaking, if you're bashier than your opponent then marking your opponents is good, but if they're bashier than you you may want to stand one square back so that when their turn comes around they can't beat your entire team into the dirt.
However, if you're trying to protect your ball carrier it can be better for even a bashier team to stand back, so that your opponents can only knock a single blocker out of your cage formation. And even a squishy team might need to tie up a big guy with an expendable lineman so that it can't Blitz someone more valuable.
