Great report, always a good watch. a few things from the game/pointers:
- with regards to the chapter tactics, since angels of death is a supplement yes you still follow the rules from the main codex for mixed chapter tactics in units and you do still lose them (Don't think it affected/came into play this game), but you still benefit from the detachment special rules, so the fists of medusa detachment has its own special rules that the iron hands models will still benefit from. At the moment that's how I'm playing, obviously I could be wrong, the supplement has just been released.
- At the end it was said that you have to take a demi company as a core choice, in the fists of medusa strike force you can take an armoured task force as the core, so you could take a techmarine on a bike (stick him the command squad) and 3 single whirlwinds. Don't forget the detachment has access to 0-3 command slots per core choice selected. The command choices are Libby conclave, something else, and commanders one, which is 1 captain and 0-1 command squad, so even without the demi company you can take a chapter master and command squad.
- Using a command squad deathstar is always going to be in danger to being stomped, a way around it is to roll for hammerhand, and put force staves on all of your librarians, strange in some situations but vs knights when combined with hammerhand you get loads of str8 attacks at I4 (before stomps), and vs wraithknights get force up, you never know it's all too easy to fail a 3+ save (force = instant death = no fnp = d3 wounds instead of 1). Could help to avoid being stomped.
