So it seems I have finally gotten over the rage of sigmar and gave in to play a game. It was fun, different, but a decent game.

The question I have is where is a good place to find CHEAP bases to rebase my entire ogre army? I know I don't have to but id rather them be on round now, most people are playing with the house rule we measure from the base not the mini. Normally I would get bases in bulk at adepticon, the mdf bases. Where could I get super cheap mdf bases online? Most places for 40mm rounds are about $0.75-1.00 each and im not spending over $100 to rebase my ogres.

This guys bases are pretty cheap.

I have ordered his stuff a few times. It does come from Hong Kong, but he has free shipping and it usually takes about 2 weeks to arrive. I think it arrives in the US via San Francisco, and it is Customs that takes so long. But they are good bases. I rebased a tone of old Terminators for real cheap.

I don't know how readily available they are in the US, but take a look for Renedra plastic bases. They're nothing fancy, but come in all the common sizes, take paint/basing material well and are dirt cheap to boot (I paid about £3 for 50 25mm rounds, postage included).

Wait til the big rule book comes out for destrustion incase they go the way of tomb kings. They already lost a few models and are called fattie lumps or something now.

You may do what some tomb kings did rebase then get deleted.

Note that even if that happens (and there's been no indication yet that it will) all the rules will still be supported online/in the AoS app (definitely worth downloading) so if you have the models already you've nothing to worry about, they just won't feature in the 'official' fluff going forward (though the AoS setting is one where basically anything is possible, so you can still headcanon them in).

They've been mentioned several times in the fluff and were fought in one of the novels.

If your forces make it into the alliance books then you're fine. (Where as the Tomb kings and Bretonnians did not. That said, those two forces have been hinted at in recent fluff....)

Even if they were discontinued they'd still getting official updates to their rules as has been confirmed.

@OgreChubbs, rules are still in app and the reason for their removal, along with the orc and goblin rules, is due to a update of their rules in the future.

Edit: clarification, you can still download individual rules from the site.

You do realize that Grand Alliance: Destruction was released almost three weeks ago?

The seller gamelink2012 has good quality resin bases at stupid cheap prices. Like 10 32 for £4 or less. Maybe he's upped his prices buy international I bought 70& shipping totall was about the same final price as buying 2 GW packed of 10? Bases. Worth a look.

Another vote for Renedra - but they're thinner than the GW bases. I've never liked that my Warhammer dudes sat on a plinth, so I love these thin Renedra bases (and they're very cheap)

I play...

Sigh.

Here's a real old school suggestion: why not use metal washers that you can pick up at the hardware store? The added benefit is that it adds weight to the model.
