Download the Hârn Map free PDF by adding it to your shopping cart. No purchase necessary.
The original Hârn map, drawn by N. Robin Crossby and first printed in 1983, is one of the most beautiful fantasy maps ever created. It is 22 x 34 inches with colorful terrain and dotted with hundreds of castles, cities, and other points of interest. This edition includes a cultural map and details on the reverse side.
The Hârn map has a letter/number grid that is useful for locating sites. Many of the grid squares have been detailed in the Atlas Hârnica series. Hundreds of closer scale, local maps, exist showing cities, castles, manors and more. The hexes on the map correspond exactly between Regional and Atlas Maps and allow reliable measuring of distances and travel times.
The master encyclopedia/index of the map is Hârndex. Hârndex is a 154 page alphabetical, general reference source book for gamemasters using HârnWorld. Every settlement shown on the Hârn Map is included along with historical, cultural, political, economic, guild and religious entries and more. Location entries give the name of the holder, the liege, and approximate population, plus historical and biographical notes. HârnWorld is a gaming environment suitable for any role-playing game system.
Prints of the Hârn map are available folded or laminated.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Download a 60 page free sample PDF that focuses on the Kingdom of Kaldor.
Located in the eastern interior of Hârn, Kaldor is a feudal realm ruled by King Miginath Elendsa from his royal castle in Tashal. The king has always been sickly; his imminent death has been yearly predicted. After 27 years on the throne, the aged king continues to baffle his subjects simply by getting up each morning. He has never married, leaving the succession unclear.
Kaldor is ripe with adventure possibilities. A player might become involved in succession intrigue, play a knight ruling a manor, trade as a merchant on the Salt Route or the Silver Way, or campaign with the Oselmarch or Chelmarch armies in barbarian territory.
This PDF includes excerpts from the many available Kaldor-related modules. It begins with an excerpt from the Kaldor module showing some of the detail covered in a kingdom module. Some of the highlights include heraldry, economic and military details and more.
The sample continues with with pages from the City of Tashal, one of seven walled cities on Hârn. Tashal is the seat of the King of Kaldor. Details include outstanding city maps, trade and caravan information, local plans of dozens of neighborhoods and sites in the city including the Tashal underground.
Caer Kiban has been chosen as a sample Hârnic castle-town, ruled by the strong-willed Earl Troda Dariune. The module includes a town map, castle plans and more.
Finally the excerpt contains sample pages from HârnManor introducing the detail available such as manorial economics and trade. The site of Roganter, a secular manor held by a knight from the Archbishop of Larani at Caleme, is detailed and mapped with information about every village household. Readers will notice the Caleme page in the Kaldor module lists Roganter among it's holdings.
There are dozens of supplements related to Kaldor. See the full list here.

Thanks again... glad to see more stuff for people to check out ...
This is a good example of the detail the world system has... The world is low fantasy with a ton of realistic things intertwined.
I hope more people get interested in it.. But the harn game rules are quite deadly thought and most players don't want to do advanced
mathematics to figure out if their bow string broke when firing it at the town guard.
