1) How do the Forgeworld Grot Tanks compare to a 40mm base? They don't look too big compared to a 25mm Grot...could they remotely fit on a 40mm base? For what it's worth, I'm looking at using them for Ghar Battle Suits, which are roughly terminator sized on 40mm bases. The other possibility (and definitely fits the scale) is Mega Nobz, but I really do like the Grot Tanks and would love to use them if they are even close to correct scale...

2) Are there any Gretchin models out there with lightning rods, or some kind of techy radar thing or something? Reasoning is I am using Gretchin for a Gates of Antares Ghar army, and am looking for a proxy for the Tectorist Scouts. Original model image linked below.

I think kromlech has a line of grot models that would have the details you're looking for... can't link atm...command something I think....

Here is one of the Offical FW models next to a Killa Kan (60 mm base). They would barely fit on a 60 mm, let alone 40 mm.

Yeah, the grot tanks are roughly the same size as Kanz (well, the hulls are larger, but the tanks don't have the big kan arms), so probably a bit too big to count-as something on a 40mm base. Meganobz would be a closer fit.

Kromlech do indeed have a wonderful selection of goblin models, but none look especially techy to my eyes.

Of course, when it comes to grots, conversion is always a great way to get the right-sized models with the right equipment

Thanks for the post of the tanks on bases.

Won't work for my counts-as project, but I may have to get some for the cool factor anyway. I think I'll have to go Meganobz for the Ghar Suits, but luckily I only need three.

I think for the Tectorist scouts I'm going to use Night Goblin banner bearers. Since in game, the scouts provide a bonus to hit the enemy, I'll do banner bearers holding a flag with an arrow "SHOOT HERE --->" or something.

Or changing the Night Goblin banner to some sort of techy equipment would be an easy conversion?
