Question, who can Renegade Knights ally with? Could they with Tau?

Any faction can ally with any other. How the models interact is described in the ally matrix. Renegade Knights ally in the exact same was as Chaos Space Marines.

As for the question, yes they can, but they're subjected to the allies matrix in terms of how they react to each other (I think it's Desperate Allies in this case?)

EDIT: Nevermind about the post date. My comp was being stupid.
