Personally, I think a game focused around being an early Christian shortly after the Crucifixion could be awesome!

You have Roman/Local politics, sects springing up, secret worship, persecution, and attempting to build a church while making and following the new "rules" of faith.

Could be smashing. Forget bolting on Fantasy elements.
