A Protoss colony world

In one week I have a team tournament at my FLGS, so I thought I would post my list and my teammate's in hopes of getting some advice on what should work. The rules are 3 detachments (combined between both teammates), 1000 points per player, Lords of War restricted to 400 points or less, Forge World and Fortifications allowed. Battle brothers are treated as such; all other combinations are treated as Allies of Convenience.
First, my list:
Combined Arms Detachment (Chaos Space Marines)
HQ:
Daemon Prince of Nurgle: Wings, Armor, Mastery Level 3, The Black Mace
Be'lakor
Troops:
Chaos Cultists: 10 men, Flamer, Mark of Slaanesh
Chaos Cultists: 10 men, 8x Autogun, Shotgun for Champion, Mark of Slaanesh
Fast Attack:
Heldrake: Baleflamer
Total 1000 points
And then my teammate's list:
Combined Arms Detachment (Khorne Daemonkin)
HQ:
Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage
Troops:
Bloodletters: 10 men, Bloodreaper upgrade, Banner of Blood
Bloodletters: 10 men, Bloodreaper upgrade, Banner of Blood
Fortification:
Void Shield Generator: 3 shields
Renegade Knight Forsworn Detachment
Renegade Knight: Reaper Chainsword, Avenger Gatling Cannon
Total 1000 points
Tactics: Be'lakor always tries to cast Invisibility on the Knight, followed by Shrouding on the D-thirster. The Nurgle Prince rolls his mandatory one power on the Nurgle table, and the other two on Biomancy hoping for Iron Arm. Everybody starts close to the VSG to prevent being wiped by a lucky alpha strike. The Prince stays on the ground, jinking like crazy for that sweet 2+ cover save. The armor is a backup because I know one enemy team will be Tau and they can get rid of that cover save. The cultists and Bloodletters are there to secure objectives and possibly bubble wrap the expensive units. The hellturkey does what hellturkeys do best. I only took MoS on the cultists because I was unsure of what else to use my last 20 points for. At least with that mark they can swing at most enemies simultaneously if they end up in combat.

I and my teammate are very much hoping for helpful suggestions.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

I like the lists a lot, even though you seem a bit low on troops to hold objectives.

May I suggest, roll your 3 psychic powers from nurgle prince in biomancy, you might get lucky and also get endurance, which is a BIG DEAL IMO.

Moreover, I don't know if you carry enough Warp Charges to cast everything you need. Have you consider using pink horrors instead of cultists ? I know it would also meant to drop helldrake and make a daemon CAD, but thats your call

However, like I said, both lists are very interesting and I like the composition.

Now let's hope you don't fight double Taus ! haha

Good luck !

^ he cant take three powers because chaos codex requires you to take at least one from the nurgle discipline. May I suggest an alternative approach. I hope you and your friend are ok with sharing models... IM thinking about changing your lists

Here is the list I wrote for you guys...

CSM cad: 1000pts

Belakor

sorcerer, spell familiar, ml3, bike, aura

2x10 cultists (cultists are useful in a building somewhere holding an objective and pray they dont get killed)

4 spawn

heldrake

void shield generator 3 shields.

KDK: 865 pts

d-thirster

2x8 blood letters

chaos knight with dirge castor.

THoughts: If you are going to take a knight for chaos it might as well be the chaos knight because it will generate that much needed blood tithe for you. you can also switch if you want. you can take the knight of tzeentch and make it durable by casting invis on it and it has reroll ones for saves. Then you could put the heldrake in the kdk so they generate blood tithes. It was hard to create a list for you guys without knowing what models you have. I hope i put some kind of good advice in there. The reason why i dont take the DP is because in a tourney the cover save wont be as good as you think. And the armour will not be that good either because grav. the only way to run one (in my opinion) is by either going with the tetrad or MOT in the daemons codex. Well i gave you as much insight as possible. usually in a 1000 point doubles tourney i would go for more boys than toys. Good luck out there and have fun my chaos brethren!

We would use a FW Chaos Knight of Khorne, but it goes over the 400 point limit on a single LOW. The model my teammate has would be perfect for it (the model looks very much like a Kytan). You are right that it would be better, but it just won't work with the tournament rules. Also, I like the Spawn suggestion, but neither of us has any Spawn models or bike Sorcerer models.

The advice is appreciated, though!
