So, me and a friend have started playing the Beta this weekend.

I was extremely skeptical and expected to just get an elder scrolls flavored hearthstone clone.

What I got was all the good parts of hearthstone with way more and much better mechanics.

I never expected to have to do this but anyone interested in digital TCG's should seriously check it out.

The beta already has a 20 chapter Story mode that is fully narrated to unlock 5 basic decks.

Some basic differences between this in HS.

Decks can be 2 "classes". Classes in this are attributes:

Strength (Red)
Willpower (White)
Agility (Green)
Endurence (purple/black)
Intelligence (blue)

It feels a lot closer to MTG too, which is a bonus for me.

Decks can be mono or two colours and there are multicolour cards.

Board is split into lanes (usually two) so you actually have to think about placement more.

I'm game. Are there any referral codes, or ways we can give you SWAG for letting us know about this? I was totally unaware of this game, and love Skyrim.

Don't think so, it's still beta so we probably get reset at launch anyway.

It does look more appealing than HS at a glance.

I will give it a try.

Plan to check it out after Duelyst. Less emphasis on pvp sounds great to me.

Still in the very comprehensive tutorial- it was ingenious to actually put a story in there. I'm enjoying the trickle release of gameplay. Except for the Imperial army, combos seem much less devastating than HS.

After a fair few hours of gameplay, I have nothing but love for this game. So much better than HS. <3
