I thought of a way to make BaC the best deal in terms of miniatures.
Build or magnetize the Contemptor Dread.
Build the heroes.
Build Cataphractii Terminators.
Build two Tactical Squads.
Using the last Tactical, build a 5 man squad of Devastators, using the two heavy weapons in Sprue, and the two left over from the other sprues. Then, use the remaining five to build a Command Squad, Veterans Squad, or Assault Squad (a bit of kit bashing needed).

You can do a nice assault marine squad on foot with no extra work.
2 with flamers
2 w/BP/chainswords
Sarge with pistol/power sword. Or other CC toy.
You do use up most of the sarge weapon options to do this though. This is not an issue if you just give all your tac sarges combis, and dev sarge a bolter.
This also eats 2/3s of your flamers, but that’s not a big deal.
My suggestion would to build the box as a demi company
5 man tac, melta, c-melta
5 man tac, melta, c-melta
5 man tac, plasma, c-plasma
5 man assault, 2 flamers, vet sarge w/powersword
5 man dev, 3xML
That leaves 5 guys left. Options would be to add them to a tac squad (probably 5 guys, one with a HB to the plasma squad), build them as a command squad, or paint them special and field them as sternguard. The advantage of the last is that if you add one more vet unit, you have some terminators that could be included into a 1st company TF, elevating the whole list to a gladius.
Depends on what you long term goals are.

When I built my Mentors force out of the last BAC box I had purchased I simply bought a handful of bits orders on eBay and ended up with a bunch of useful stuff. A couple extra sprues of arms, some jump packs = boom.

If I was to add some bits to the BaC box it would be some jump packs and a more diverse heavy weapon selection.
Plus transports.

I see. So I equip as assault instead of other Tactical.
