I could use a hand with my AoS strategies ...

Eshin Clawpack -
- 3 Night Runners ( 10 men )
- 1 doubled-up Gutter Runners ( 10 men )
- 1 Skaven Assassin

additional units -
- Grey Seer
- Skaven Chieftain with Battle Standard
- Warlord w/ optional clanshield
- 2 Warlock Engineers

46 figures w/ 70 wounds should prevent sudden death by enemies with 55+ wounds
can't do anything about enemies numbering less than 35 figures though

formation -
front line - 20 Night Runners ( with hidden Assassin and scurry away Warlord ), two inches apart
second line - 10 Night Runners, 10 Gutter Runners, 2 inches apart
rear line - Warlock Engineer, Grey Seer, Chieftain w/ standard, Warlock Engineer

combat roles -
front line Runners move in and shoot and charge enemy
second line Runners shoot continuously and hold any enemy that escapes the front
Super-charged Grey Seer and Warlock Engineers pummel enemy from long distance
Eshin Clawpack A Knife For Every Back re-rolls wounds on enemies reduced under 10 by shooting
Assassin and eternally Scurrying Away Warlord target troublesome Heroes
Unfurled Battle Standard keeps all Skaven within 13" from running due to Battleshock
Gray Seer, as backup for Chieftain, reduces Battleshock losses within 26" by 50%
With Battleshock losses ever happening, should be able to mow down the enemy given enough time

I have a total of 1 warlord and 60 normal skaven figures plus 2 rat ogres to work with.
Can reassemble and/or repaint.
Any suggestions?

MathHammered out, Warlock Engineer does an average of 1d6 unsaved wounds,
War Lightning Cannon also does an average of 1d6 unsaved wounds
Ratling Guns do an average of only 1d3 unsaved wounds.

Is this meant to be a Matched Play force? If so, your Night Runner units are only Battleline if your army has the Eshin allegiance (i.e., all the units and warscroll battalions in the army have the 'Eshin' keyword).

((Ghaz quote from another post that seems relevant .."The only battalions with points for Matched Play are those found in Battletomes, Grand Alliance books and the Compendiums."))

Ahem. I am beginning to see my error. Sorry. Let me go back and open myself to the opportunity of being corrected on various assumptions that I had made.

My aim was to tack the quite valuable benefits of the Skaven Grey Seer and of the Skaven Chieftain With Battle Standard onto the available Skaven Battalion Warscrolls. Seemed simple.
Because Warscrolls have been re-corrected to no longer all be perfectly free, I may not have in my possession all available knowledge needed to accomplish this task.
My failure to notice that the Seer and Chieftain are not currently listed as having Matched Play Pitched Battle point costs had also kept me searching for several days for the point cost of the Verminus Clawpack until it finally dawned on me that I had only noticed what was included, not making the effort to ask myself WHY something may not have been included.

Chaos Allegiance Battle Trait and Command Trait combination Unpredictable Destruction / Great Destroyer looks extremely promising. So does the Verminus clan Battle Standard upgrade option available to the Clan Rats and the Stormvermin. But the Artefacts Of Chaos wording stating that I my include one additional "artefact for each warscroll battalion you include in your army" seems confusing and the requirements to have several Crowns Of Command (one on each Hero) seem unclear. In your estimation, is that one Artefact for each unique battalion composed of all of the units in a Battalion Warscroll or is it one for each individual uniquely named warscroll "Battalion Warscroll" included and represented as part of my armylist?
