Hi all,

my GF and i are going to get into AoS after a 6 Year GW hiatus. I was looking at the start collecting boxes and thought about what would be a good and cheap way to get a 2.000 point tournament list from there. So i looked at the slave to darkness box and came up with this list. It clocks in at about 300€. The mounted Chaos lord and the knights/ chariots form a ruinbringer warband, while the rest is part of the slaves to darkness box ( and in case of the mutalith, it just looks great). Is this list at least competitive enough to not be stomped mercilessly in a tournament? Any recommendations?

btw the Mutalith is not set in stone, i just think the model is awesome

Have you looked at the missions in the General's Handbook and thought about which ones might be strong/weak based on the number of units, how quick they are, etc?

Just to throw this out there, you could give one of your Units of Knights Chaos Glaives. The "Impaling Charge" rule has always worked well for me. Buffed by a Chaos Lord on Mount, they can re-roll charge rolls, and add one to their hit rolls, making them 3 by 3, -1 and 2 when they charge. I like the Mutalith, too. I'm thinking of adding one at some point.
