I've wanted Harlequins ever since they came out. Bought a few finecast ones several years ago and couldn't make them nice. After picking up Death Masque I decided to go for a simpler scheme that I could make work. So here is the first troupe from the Masque Of The Ancient Game.





I think this is a scheme that compromises nicely between the look of the Harlequins and the time it would take me to paint a whole army.

Looking great! Still captures the out of place look of the Harlequins without the need for diamonds - good work

There is a tutorial on WarhammerTV about painting diamonds if you feel like trying it out in the future - they are tricky, but practice will make perfect:




You can use precision masking tape too to mark out the lines - I've found it to be very helpful for my own endeavours

I did try this with normal brush on paint as well and it works too.
