I don't play Marines, but it was fun to get a box and paint 1 for each Chapter Tactic/Codex.

And a special comedy mini:

They all look great. My favorite if I had to choose would be the Imperial Fist, you nailed it.

You're missing a Crimson Fist!

I really like your Imperial Fist. What did you paint him up with? I am looking for pointers for my 30K army.

I typically use Citadel paints and occasionally cheap acrylics for a hobby store. I believe I prime the White Scar, Blood Angel, Space wolf & Imperial first white, then washed them with their respective color.
The other 6 were primed black and painted up.

In the case of the Imp Fist, I used a medium yellow acrylic (think smiley face yellow), although I am sure the matching Citadel is fine.
Then I watered down a darker yellow mix. If I remember correctly, I mixed the original yellow with Iyanden Sunburst.
Once dry, I mixed the original yellow with a very small amount of white. Like 90/10, maybe even 95/5, the idea is just to make the yellow a very slight bit brighter. I then drybrushed the entire model with this until the flat surfaces were smooth.
The final touch was to mix a bit more white into the mix and pick out the edges.

As for Crimson Fists, they are a successor chapter that does not have specific rules (like Black Templars do) so I haven't doen one...yet. I need a Heavy Bolter Marine for my KT, so I will probably do him as a Crimson Fist, especially since their chapter tactic is all about bolters.

Loving the variety here! I've always wanted to see this for some reason so I can tick this off my list

You think you'll add a GK in there?

Thanks again everyone. I am currently working on adding 3 Bikes for Kill Team. Obviously 1 has to be a White Scar and another has to be Ravenwing. I think the third will be a Guardian of the Convenant (silver armour/ crimson robes, DA successor).
I am also working on a Crimson Fist Heavy Bolter Marine.

I think since I will have a White Scar biker, the White Scar I have on foot need to be repainted.
I am leaning heavily towards Blood Raven since even GW has given them 1 model (from Death Watch), but it would mean repainting over all that white that was difficult.
Are there any other popular (read easily recognizable) chapters that are mostly white? Maybe Mentors or White Consolers? or are Blood Ravens way more recognizable than either?

Do the Mentors... they even have the pad for it in the Deathwatch killteam box so you could find it easily online from a bits retailer if you need it. They also have some cool backstory.

Nailed the red and white on the white scars, probably my favorite of the group, although the space wolf with the pet dog is definitely up there

Very cool stuff!

I wish I could tell you the GW equivalent, but I use a mix of Citadel paints and generic acrylics from a hobby store. I just took a medium blue, washed it with Daemonette hide (purple wash), repainted the smooth areas in the original medium blue, then mixed some cyan/light blue with the original medium blue for the highlights.

I've actually never assigned a Chapter for him and I have contemplated repainting him as a Legion of the Damned Marine, but Silver Skulls is fine.
