This thread will probably be mirrored over in the misc sci-fi section.

I'm currently doing some studio work for Anvil's 'Afterlife' game. I'll collate all the results in this thread, but it will be sporadically updated - there's plenty of stuff on the way, but I don't show stuff until clients do... :-)

These are all production resin casts (ie what you buy). And they're great. Really, really sharp - and practically zero cleanup required. I'm very impressed.

First up, some Unity Guard - these are pretty basic troopers. Nice little heavy weapon platform too.

Those are some great looking generic sci-fi figures. Nice brushwork.

Damn, I love that colourscheme with the white helmets and tan trench coats. It screams 90's sci-fi to me, like something you'd see in Robocop, Syndicate, or Crusader: No Remorse.
I wasn't too much a fan of these sculpts judging from the unpainted pics on the site, but this paintjob really sells the look.

Ah awesome, I look forward to seeing more of the Afterlife range with your brushwork on it.

They look great in that distressed leather finish, but I still think they look more intimidating in black. Food for thought though.

Looking forward to more.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Thanks for the kind comments. With regard to the colour schemes, as this is studio work, I'm following the official artwork reasonably closely - this helps maintain some consistency with how the product is presented.

Whole bunch more found its way onto Anvil's site so here's the picture splurge.

Woop. Nice to put these pics out - these are great models to work with and if you're on the lookout for such things, go take a look at Anvil Industries. :-)

What colors did you use for that cream+green?

Looks really nice, as always, Winterdyne.

The tan is panzer aces weathered wood, agrax wash, layer up with VMC khaki and extremes with panzer aces Light Mud.

The green (I assume you mean the pouches) is VMC US Dark Green, agrax wash, highlight with VMC US Dark Green, add a touch of VMC pale blue grey to keep it cool in contrast to the warmer armour.

I meant more the fatigues on the shield bearing guys, but I guess that's more of a brown/olive.

Thanks though

Oh right, that's VMC olive drab, agrax, highlight with a little pale blue grey in olive drab.
