Greetings, fellow Dakkanauts!

Glad to share my latest creation, as a part of the OrCtoberfest celebration

The original miniature is a 1/35 resin kit Orc Axe (tree snag with lizard and runic stones included), sculpted by Denis Soul (currently the copies of this Orc should be available from Ouroboros Miniatures)
The pixies and scenic base was sculpted by me with Magic Sculpt. Each pixie is ~10mm from tip to toe.
The textures on axes are freehand.
Painted with acrylics and a bit of oils, for the private collection.

The picture is clickable for one huge wall of pics in Dakka gallery:

Flawless.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Incredible. Are the pixie wing membranes semi-transparent or is it an illusion from painting them a soft grey?

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Cheers!
The wings are semi-transparent - cut out from the PET-bottle and covered with matt varnish
