Subject: Baneblade + variants in space marine legions

Hi all, I was wondering if baneblades and their variants could still be taken in marine legion armies as I read that this was possible a few years back as FW stated that the red books could use stuff from apocalypse and IA, however I can't seem to find any clear answers that are more recent as there seems to be some confusion on the matter.

Legions have their own version of the Baneblade- it's called the Fellblade and Fellglave. It's also a bit murky if the Fellblade and Fellglave are are variants of Baneblades, or their own class of Super Heavy tank.
If you want to take the other types of Baneblades for the Legions, you'd have to field the Solar Auxilla (IG in 30K) as your Primary Detachment, and then ally a detachment of Legion Space Marines.

Yes the new red book let's you take most baneblade variants as a legion Lord of war choice
