Subject: Short Form Battle Report: White Scars Battle Company vs. Tau Monster Bash #293
One of the best short form battle reports I've seen as the format is both entertaining and gives a good general idea of what's going on. Very well edited, good music choice, and the lighting/camera work is on point. Only improvement I would recommend trying is putting the score and possibly the turn objectives on the screen during the turn transition so its easier to follow the scoring progress during the game.
Spoiler:
Great game that showed the power of not giving up after a devastating alpha strike and having good target priority. Also a good example of how Riptide/Stormsurge spam isn't an auto win and the risks involved with putting all your eggs in a small number of baskets

The commentary each round would maybe be better if it was spoken in the future tense, kind of.
For example, the talking heads would say what happened, past tense, but it didn't match what was on the table and in some cases came well before you saw it. I think it might be better when speaking about it to say "As you will see in a moment, He will execute this maneuver and that results in this and that" instead of speaking about it past tense. I hope that made sense.
Also I would consciously avoid saying "So we'll see how it goes". Just my input. I like the idea of it a lot. One other thing is a little more light on the board may have helped a little. I had to strain just a little to see what was going on. Maybe bringing in a production light for it or something could assist. I dunno. Just spit balling.

I can appreciate the time and effort put into the long form videos. However I like to watch these during my lunch break. I also like the option of viewing more than one of these in a sitting as well. So for me the short form vids are perfect. I usually avoid anything longer than an Hour or find myself fast-forwarding a lot.
for me.. these 15-20 min vids are just awsome
