One of the big downfalls of current tank focused armies (such as my Armoured Battle Group, named the 5th Armoured Company) is melta bombs, (and haywires, but that is not what I'm hear to talk about). Anti-Grenade Mesh is 5 points and can be placed on LRs, Thunders and DTHs. It gives a 5+ save on all gernade attacks, INCLUDING MELTA BOMBS, which sounds like a good idea. In my army I have 3 LRs, and a DTH (as well as other things, but they can't get the mesh) So that would be 20 pts to give all my tanks the mesh, would this be advisable, sure I still have to deal with haywire, but would this make my tank only army less prone to melta attacks?

The best way of stopping grenades is to make sure they cant get there in the first place now as your using armoured battle group it is harder to get enough infantry to bubblewrap so looking into some guard allies would be a better alternative

It is only 5 points. Were it a 6+ save I'd say no but as is it is a 50% chance or so to ignore it every two rounds. Not a bad deal.

Give it to the short ranged tanks. Thunderers and the like. Vanqs should endeavour to be at least 36" away from the enemy and can drop a ID small blast on any infantry foolish to deep strike and not kill them.

You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!

For the record, they are 15 not 5 pts.
