I am running BL and have a couple of questions regarding their legion and formation bonuses. If I am not mistaken, the Speartip formation gives you the warlord alpha strike and the turn 1 reserve rolls (among other things), but nothing is objective secured. A BL CAD has objective secured chosen and terminator troops, but no alpha strike. Now my actual question is (assuming the above is correct) does the Helbrute Mayhem Pack benefit from any of the formation bonuses, specifically the reserve rolls.
Also, are Chosen usable at all in a Hounds of Abaddon formation?

If the Helbrute Mayhem Pack is not part of the Speartip detachment then it doesn't benefit from the detachment bonuses - so your answer there is no. You cannot take it as part of the Speartip . It's a separate entity in itself.

With regards to the Hounds of Abaddon formation - I'm going to be that guy who says 'read the gorram book.' If you do that, you will see Chosen are not part of the formation so the answer there is also no.

I guess I should elaborate in the Hounds of Abaddon question. What I meant was, when using the Hounds of Abaddon as core, is there ANY way to include Chosen in a Speartip formation, not just in the core.

Also, where can I find the rules for the Mayhem Pack? They aren't in Traitor Legion of the old BL supplement book.
