With the new year comes a new project. I don't want to take my eldar to tournaments in this next year. And I want to get my khorne models painted. So, with the purchase of a couple of additions I have come up with this as a finalised tournament list. Now, C&C is definitely welcome. Specifically things you think will give it a very hard time and why. But I don't envisage that I'll be making many major changes to the list. Please let me know what you think though.

Khorne Daemonkin CAD.

HQ - Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage
HQ - Chaos Lord, Juggernaut, Sigil of corruption, lightning claw, axe of ruin. (Goes with dogs)

Troops - 8 Bloodletters
Troops - 8 Bloodletters

Fast Attack - 10 Flesh Hounds
Fast Attack - Heldrake, Baleflamer
Fast Attack - Heldrake, Baleflamer

Heavy Support - Maulerfiend, Lasher Tendrils
Heavy Support - Maulerfiend, stock

Lord of War - Chaos Daemon Knight of Khorne, Knight Errant, Dirge Caster.

1850 on the nose. Going for a turn 2 charge everywhere. Lord goes with hounds and scouts forward as distraction unit/threat unit. If he does a bloodthirster comes. If he doesn't die I save 8 bloodtihes and 2 bloodthirsters come. I'm aiming to put the letters in deepstrike reserve, and either use them as harassment or to drop on objectives. I think it can work and can hold its own.

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

I like it a lot.

The bloodletters won't be happy being called cultists.
I would probably run cultists as an alternative source of mortals to promote . Save a few points for more hounds.

Haha, never even noticed that. Will edit now.

I have had a lot of bad luck 'promoting' cultists. So many failed leadership checks. Hence I'm not aiming to summon princes or thirsters unless I can get it on the lord. I tend to have the most luck with numbers 2-5 on the tithe chart. And the letters being able to deep strike on objectives seems to work better than I expect.

I've thought about doing a list very similar to this one. It is without a doubt potent but the lack of scoring units makes me a bit nervous. The low model count and lack of survivability could spell doom against board control lists. Be sure to let us know how it performs!

You thought of adding a cabal to the hounds. maybe drop 1 drake and 1 maulerfiend. the ability to buff that unit with endurance would be scary.

If you've already got two Turkeys in there, just switching straight over to the CSM formation gives some great bonuses.

Doing so means the heldrakes don't make blood points
