The more I played with numbers, I realized I wanted a knight centered list. Big Stompy robots call to me! By taking the household detachment all the knights count as ObSec. Between the two Icarus guns, I should have enough anti-air. The Barons WS/BS 5, rerolls in challenges, and guns should make him pretty solid all around. The banner keeps the Skitarii from running so they can spray down MCs ad glance vehicles to death. The assassin rounds it out, debuffing psychic Death Stars and murdering things in between. Well, what do you think?

My experince with knights (number 4 in pittsburg for the year with them) is this run 4 knights and 3 squads of scouts. run one as the double gun knight and then 1 errant 2 paladins. the scouts will hold objectives fine and take the autocannon on all of them giving you 8 strength 7 ap 4 AA shots a turn

That's good if you have the points but looking at his total I think that's more than he can afford in that range. Well, depending on what you meant by scouts.

I think it's a good setup, but target priority is important. The Culecus won't stop Marines from burying your Knights in Technomancy Witchfires (most of which can be cast outside his range).

The Banner has a range of 12, right? It might not be good to keep your units so close to the Warlord. If he dies, the Apocalyptic blast could hurt. Maybe drop it for a few more oprions.

Another idea is to drop it, swap the Errant for a Cerastus Lancer (the great melee beast) and replace the Stormspear on the Warlord with an Icarus.

Those are some things to think about. The Lancer, with careful planning could be a solid answer to a Wraithknight. Though it loses the flexibility of long range shooting. I was thinking about dropping the Culexus for a Librarian Conclave to give the Knights some psychic hood protection. That would take some reworking, however. Actually, not so bad. . .

Looks okay. . .not quite satisfied. . .but I'm just getting back into the game.

there is a formation in the knight book for a Sqn of knights. you take tiggy in a librarius. inquisitor with crusaders and the Sqn and look for invisibility and prescience on a Sqn on knights is scary
