Hi Dakka!

I'm back again and this time I've been planning a new list for the Grey Knights. Those sexy silver sons of the Emprah.

I've done some research and roughly decided on the following list. Comments and suggestions please.

++ GK Nemesis Strike Force
Rules: Brotherhood Commander, Rites of Teleportation

Brotherhood Commander: If this Detachment is chosen as your Primary Detachment, you can re-roll the result when rolling on the Warlord Traits table in Codex: Grey Knights.
Rites of Teleportation: Instead of making Reserve Rolls from the start of your turn two, you can make Reserve Rolls for any unit in this Detachment that is placed in Deep Strike Reserve from the start of your turn one. These units will arrive from Deep Strike Reserve on turn one on the roll of 3+. In addition, all units from this Detachment can both Run and Shoot, in any order, in the same turn that they arrive from Deep Strike Reserve.

+ HQ (160pts) +

········Librarian - Nemesis warding stave, Domina Liber Daemonica, Psyker [ML 3]

+ Troops (195pts) +

········ Terminator Squad - Brotherhood of Psykers [ML 1]
··········· 3x Terminator (halberd)
··········· Terminator (psycannon + halberd)
············Terminator Justicar (halberd)

+ Elites (170pts) +

········Purifier Squad - Brotherhood of Psykers [ML 2]
··········· 1x Purifier Justicar (sword)
··········· 2x Purifier (incinerator)
··········· 2x Purifier (sword)
··········· Dedicated Transport - Rhino

+ Heavy Support (225pts) +

········Nemesis Dreadknight - Heavy Incinerator, Heavy Psycannon, Nemesis greatsword and power fist, Personal teleporter, Psyker [ML 1]

Total: 750 points

Pros:

1) Generating quite a lot of warp charges and with a ML3 libby with Domina i'll have a lot of spells to throw around. Namely sanctuary to provide some beefier protection (+1 to invuln blessing) and Gate of Infinity for mobility (80% chance i'll get gate of infinity).
2) Purifiers move up the board in a rhino and attempt to get close enough to roast the living bejezzus out of troop squads. Having Cleansing Flame, incinerators and Hammerhand makes these guys absolutely nasty up close as they get 2A by default aswell. With vehicles being a bit tougher in 7th edition there'a a reasonable chance the rhino will make it there too.
3) Terminators DS onto the board with the librarian for some "SURPISE MUTHERF**KA" shenanigans.
4) Dredknight can either DS or shunt 30' with his personal teleporter. With the master crafted greatsword he can also handle any big nasties the enemy might bring.

Cons:

1) Lol, what do you mean there are objectives? (i.e no chance at holding/contesting objectives unless my prey happens to be standing on one)
2) Only 2 targets on the board at the start of the game. I'd assume a smart player would target my Dreadknight but i could be wrong and my purifiers get stuck in the deployment zone..

Questions:

1) Should i be taking Sanctic powers on my librarian? What else would be an option? And if i don't take Sanctic i don't need Domina. What to do with the extra 25 points?
2) What warlord trait tree should i roll on, it seems the GK one is very lacking.

I await your invaluable feedback with baited breath.

I would definitely go with sanctic, it's got quite a good range of useful powers. Personally I'd rather try and fit in a second dreadknight instead of the purifiers.

The Purifiers are your weak link.

I would also drop the Liber Demonica and Stave on your Libby for a Hammer. The Terminators could also use a hammer.

If you can squeeze in a second Dreadknight do so other wise a second squad of Terminators could be quite good also.

I'd disagree with Sinji about the Libby. AdWill on a PML3 Libby is absolutely amazing--a 12" 3+/4+ DtW bubble, rerolling 1s, is bonkers, and really depresses a lot of opponents. Anyone with light psykers just get absolutely shut down, and serious psychic lists still get their offensive capabilities neutered.
No way should you have a hammer.

With the plethora of low AP weapons in the game, I'd rather save points on PAGK, considering how often your armour is just ignored. This would definitely let you fit in another NDK, or perhaps a StormRaven.
