Just got a Phantom, and my imperial army is growing a bit so I figured I'd see what I could do with it, as it's probably my favorite TIE model. Normally I just run Kath with as many basic Ties and FOs I can fit in there, but also got Imperial Aces so...I got the two interceptors to play with too. And I love Jax, the ability to just fly up, dodge everything and punch a ship at range one is beautiful.

Anyways this is my first idea:

2 Academy Pilots: 24

So the idea is for Jax and Whisper to do their best to get close, and get around my opponent, while the Academy Pilots do their best to block and look juicy enough to be distractions. I've come to really enjoy the combo of autothrusters and stealth device on an Interceptor, so I think he's set. But the Phantom's setup, is new to me. Kallus looks like a great little versatile bluff and allows me to save that focus token for other needs, FCS gives it something it normally doesn't get. And I love the idea of uncloak, shoot, recloak.

Swap predator for PTL on Jax and it seems like an ok list. It might not be top-tier competitive, but both of the aces are standard setups and you can certainly do worse than a couple of meatshield blockers.
