This Project is going to be my 1st foray into Armies on Parade.......hopefully not my last

So i'd like lots of Comments and Criticism and i'd also love to hear your own experiences of Armies on Parade or any other events where the public vote over models.

So for my project i have chosen....................the sons of the Red Angel the World Eaters, to be more precise Pre-Heresy World Eaters.

I have wanted to paint the Pre-Heresy World Eaters since the novel "Betrayer" by ADB, The colour scheme of white with Blue shoulder guards and brass highlights with the obligatory splashes of blood.

So my plan is maybe 3 vehicles and 2 Contemptor dreads supporting a wave of World Eaters all following the charge of either Delvarus or Kharn im also playing with the idea of Lheorvine Ukris minus the metal hands of course.

So after planning and picking what units im going to use tomorrow i will be purchasing my first unit.....the 1st of 2 deimos pattern predators with heavy bolters.

In the fluff of the world eaters it says that the predator tanks hunt in packs, so these 2 tanks will be like brothers with close chasis numbers and similar markings and decals.

Fingers crossed they will look as good in real life as they do in my head

Well over the weekend i attempted to paint my first predator, using a method i found on youtube by Ork Painter Nerd. My problem arose after i had applied the AK interactive heavy chipping fluid (when dry) followed by a layer of vallejo air white. When this dried i attempted to scratch through to show the brassy and uron colour underneath.

BUT when i used my toothbrush and tooth picks both soaked in water it removed all paint through to the base of the model.

Im going to try again maybe with a heavier coat of chipping fluid this week.

Has anyone attempted this method before and had decent results

Ok since i posted this lots of things have changed, mainly my living situation plus the parts i was promised (I was buying them), have been given away to some one else. So all I'm left with is a complete FW World Eaters Transfer sheet some heads from a 3rd party site and a Predator.............

Things have started to look up the World Eaters project has been scrapped anyone looking to buy the transfer sheet and the 3rd party heads get in touch (UK ONLY) and i have dug out the plans for a Death Guard 30k Army which has been sat in the projects draw for some time...
