According to Lexicanum and other sources, the most decorated Guard regiment that served in the Angevin Crusade was the Brontine Centurions (no others have even been mentioned) but I cannot find any more information pertaining to them except for the name.

Considering that out of such a massive crusade, the only named regiment we know of is the Brontine Centurions -- I would love to find sources that detail some more about them such as their combat style, colours, achievements etc. Taking into account that the primary foe in the Calixis Sector was the Yu'Vath empire, any decorated regiment would be exciting to read about.

I suspect you've got all the official information you're ever going to get. Feel free to make the rest up yourself.

This is not 100% confirmed but it is strongly hinted that the Brontine Centurions were given settlement rights, along with several other regiments in the Angevin Crusade, to found the planet Bront. Given their high degree of respect and service, I imagine the Brontines were given the honor of naming the planet as well.

2,000 years later, Bront is built up as a hiveworld with strong military traditions passed down from its founders, eventually giving rise to the rather unusual Brontian Longknives (not to be confused with a Brontine, who is from a different world).
