Subject: Necron Phylactery/Warlord Trait

So I just got the Shield of Baal: Exterminatus supplement and I had a question regarding the 6th Necron Warlord Trait in conjunction with the Phylactery. The WT, Repair Nanoscarabs, grants the Warlord the IWND special rule. A Phylactery does the same thing. If the Warlord has a Phylactery and rolls on this trait, would the IWND stack to a 4+?

Excellent question. The main thing to keep in mind is that those Warlord traits were created before the 7th edition codex.

I don't have the Necron 7th edition codex on hand. Is it stated that the bonus provided by the Phylactery unable to be stacked? Or do you mean the 7th edition BRB?

No they do not "stack".
They both provide IWND, which is a fixed number.

Shield of Baal: Exterminatus was released all of six weeks before the current Necron codex, so they should have been made with a mind towards both editions of the codex. Regardless, as Draco765 pointed out they're both a fixed number and don't 'stack'.
