Sup Ya'll
Im new to dakka, i used to paint and collect when i was a young gun and i have been out of the hobby for at least 9 10 years and now im getting back into the hobby. 
Starting an IG army so any pointers or tips and tricks are appreciated as i have missed out alot that has gone on in the hobby recently!

I have always wanted to get some guard so im happy to please! It was between CSM or IG to get started but i will have to get an evil army too

You probably know this already, but Youtube is a treasure trove for how to do just about anything hobby related (there's quite a bit of gaming related stuff too). Even if what you are looking for isn't there, you can ask the content creator and maybe they'll do a video on it.
I wouldn't have entered the hobby without Youtube. Before it, I just remember my time as a kid working with model kits (and D&D Ral Partha minis) and Testors paint which as too much work for ultimately a poor looking model.

Yeah I was watching alot of youtube before I bought any mini's just to get back into the swing of how things work its really useful brother!
