Theory time.

Lord Solar Creed please GW. I'll almost be able to forgive you a little for blowing up Cadia in a single book.

More likely Creed spends a long while as a display piece in the galleries on Solemnace.

Well if those 30k marines in the pokeball are any indicator Creed will be released in the year 50k to be deployed in the middle of some conflict on a different planet much to his own confusion and Tarzyn's amusement.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

He'll be entered into the pokédex and be saved to use in a great duel at a later time against one of the elite four.

Nah only scrubs use and rename their legendaries, they're usually meant to just sit in a box forever.

He may come back in metal in a decade's time as a ltd release.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

I doubt it. They're obviously going to do something with him considering he was literally the guy in charge of Cadia's defences and yet wasn't part of the 'Triumviate of the Imperium'.

They could have 'safely' kill him off in Fall of Cadia, but instead off'ed Kell and had him survive at the last minute.

It seems more likely Trollzyn dumps him on the doorstep of the next Council of Not-Doom with a shiny new army and then we get a fancy new model.

my pet theory is that once the dust settles 40ks timeline is advancing a little, doesn't have to be much, even as few hundred years would make it hard to justify Creed being alive thus he could be put in stasis until after the time jump, in which he escapes, to allow Creed to run around "41k" or whatever.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two
