May be a little dumb but I just wanted to be sure before i did this in game. If I take a 10 man dev squad and combat squad them, would each 5 man unit then have a sergeant with a signum or would only 1 have the signum? I was thinking about playing around with a skyhammer force and breaking down the 10 man dev squad. 2 combat squads with 2 heavy weapons each but didn't know if both squads would have the signum.

Thanks!

A 10 man squad contains only 1 sergeant. When you combat squad, you divide the models how you choose (so you decide which half-squad the sergeant ends up in), but do not end up with 2 sergeants. This is relevant outside of Dev squads because of things like challenges and Veteran/weapon upgrades.

That's what I thought. It didn't make sense to me to get 2 sergeants now but I'd seen some people do it with no complaints. I wanted to get some second opinions on this.

Thank you!
