Visarch + Yvraine go with the squad of 12 khymera. Yvraine sits in front, takes wounds until failing a save, LoS onto Visarch until he fails a save and then LoS onto a Khymera to heal them back up.

I'm curious what people think about the triumvirate. Its for sure the first thing I would cut In the list and I can see it going either way.

You cannot have 2 gmc or super heavies but 2 low is 100% fine in itc.

Khymaera aren't Aeldari so I'm not sure they can heal wounds on the triumvirate.

Crazy thought. Replace with wyches and add a shadowseer with the harlequins primaris power to stop long range shooting.

not a fan of the khymera's, otherwise good. I always tend to rely heavily on psychic powers for eldar.

They are models with the Eldar, Dark Eldar, Harlequins, or Ynnari faction, so ruleswise Khymaera are Aeldari.

I think the Khymaera are a good idea. The two one man khymaera packs are still technically units. So when they die, can't nearby units soulburst?

Khymera in signal units are a good thing, they can be used to anti-charge DS's, use to die and make Soulburst actions etc...

There is argument that Beast Packs are not without the beast master, but Under the DE Codex Beastmasters is the UNITS NAME, Beastmaster is also a choice within the unit entry, so you can take beasts.

Played a bunch over the weekend. After practise Saturday I came to the conclusion that the list needed some back line objective holders. This was my final list:

I am a believer in the triumvirate after the weekend. Played against genestealer cult, full scat bike ynarri and a marine list with 17 drop pods that all came in turn 1. The mini death star punched WAY above their weight class. Ended up throwing the Farseer in with them just to avoid him getting shot off the board. They lost most of their dogs every game but I never lost them. The avatar caused all kinds of havoc. No one is ready for her to show up when they kill a unit. Ended up 3-0 and 2nd out of 20 overall.

The only thing I really want to try now is running slyth instead of khymera in the deathstar. Would end up at one higher majority toughness with fnp instead of an invulnerable.

Good to hear, for sure it is very stong, but it has a couple LARGE weakness.

The Signal Khymeras will help with some of those weakness.

Long Range Ignore cover is going to be hard for it for sure, things like Thunderfire Cannons etc..

Fast Moving DS's like Bike/Screamers are a broblem, but if you can charge on there turn in the shooting phase (Khymeras/bikes) then they will never charge anything important.

I am a huge believer in Kymearae as Ynari, I brought a RSR of 7 yesterday, they didn't get SfD which was a shame, but they pulled way beyond their weight.

I miss 5th Ed Khymeras so much :( I miss 5th DE so much :(

I don't disagree with you here but I feel like these are things all eldar lists are weak to. Screamers in particular are a nightmare. I'm not sure what you can do to mitigate these weaknesses other then the obvious.. ally in a riptide wing.

Hah it has been so long since I played DE that when drawing up a list I used the old Beastmaster unit formation, it ate 100 orks. soooo yes after realising i'ld been an idiot I too miss them greatly!
