Hey Guys, so i'm Canadian, so some suggestions might not apply for me, (I think US stores cant legally ship to Canada models)

But im wondering if anyone has experiences on ways to get GW models cheaper. Money isn't a huge deal to me, I have a good job etc. However I plan to order about $1000 worth of models so if i could say $200-$250 im definitly not going to object!

Theres a group here called GC-Minis but i heard their turn around time for some people was like 6-8 weeks. Which i definitely dont want.

If anyone has some tips, or experience, mind breaking it down for me!

Most ebay shops do 10% off more the most part

a lot of shops also do 10% off down to 25% and 30 during sales

if you really want a deep discount. start your own full on brick and mortar store for that retailers 40% off

or start getting chummy with your LFGS owners

I like Kijiji it works great if you live close to a more populated area and are wiling ot wait for something. I got my Nid army for 200$ around november. And I got my landraider for 40$.

Not sure if you've checked with your FLGS but sometimes they give a pretty good discount. Mine always sells 40k stuff at a 20% discount unless its a web exclusive he orders for you then its a 10% discount. Either way I don't pay for shipping, it helps keep him in business, plus they may be willing to hook you up later on. Not to long ago, some guy asked him to place an order and GW sent him the wrong stuff, sternguard vets instead of whatever he orderd. The FLGS owner sold them to me for 25$ a box with the shrink wrap still on them. Worth looking into.

eBay and buy some simple green. The savings you'll find will be phenomenal if your willing to lurk and wait for big deals to jump out at you from the wood work.

Check to see if GW has box sets with things you want. If it comes in it’s own box, there is normally some savings to be had. For example, there were recently the troop+ transport boxes, and the start collecting ones.

While you can’t always find ones that fit your needs, it’s worth checking.

So, eBay only works if your local USPS (or equivalent) isn't awful. I'm about 50% on them. For ex, tracking says delivered last week, but I never got it.

However, I often do receive other people's mail and packages, which I go around delivering myself. I guess i'm the only one who doesn't just keep it.

Meeplemart in Toronto does at least 20% off GW models, and carries huge stock.

Where are you? In Ontario Kitchener there is a store called JJ Superstore. They basically have American prices listed but you pay it in Canadian dollars.

You can't see there GW products online but I am sure you can call them and they will ship it to you. I am sure you are saving about 30% so I would call them. I visit them about twice a year when making huge purchase.

For example the AoS castle is about $350 Chadian and I paid $270. I just couldn't pass that up. So call them and talk to them.

I've ordered from GC-Minis before. Took about 2-3 weeks to receive $500 worth of product. I live in Alberta, so if you're in BC, you might get the shipment a little quicker. No problems, no hassles. Would order from them again.
