Hi folks, I'm getting back into 40k after a 20 year hiatus. I used to have a 2500-3000 pt Eldar army, but I got rid of it when downsizing about 8 years ago (boy do I regret that). Now my son is about nine and I decided to start getting back into the hobby after coming across Kill Team a few weeks ago. Building up a few 200 pt Kill Teams from various factions seems like a good way to see if he's interested and to try out a few different factions before starting to try to build up a big army...

Or so I thought--I found out last week that I'm deploying to Afghanistan in March, so I said "screw it" and went ahead and picked up a few squads of Raven Guard to paint up while I'm gone. So now I'm in the process of building up a Raven Guard army--something about their chapter tactics just appealed to me. I'll get back to the Kill Teams when I get back home next fall. I've got a laundry list of factions to try out.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
