It's monday and that can only mean one thing! That the weekend is over and I am LeSad ... In an attempt to make it better, here's a brand-new Glacial Geek Battle Report! https://youtu.be/Bc1L7L_KHy0 This week my Dark Angels battle with the Blood Angels and a very special Inquisitorial ally! Reports came in that there was a rogue Librarian on the planet. He was gathering forces for a campaign of untold goals. The Inquisition requested the assistance of the Blood Angels in bringing him in to justice. When they arrived on the planet they noticed a large Astartes force gathering near where reports put the rogue Librarian. The Sons of Sanguinius hailed the marines and received no answer. They then prepared to go to battle with the enemy ... And the Dark Angels understood the necessity of their silence and the necessity of the battle to come ... Will the Sons of the Lion be able to fight back their brothers from Baal or will they be forced to answer for their presence on this planet? Watch and find out!

Whoa, that game had some twists and turns! It's always exciting when it's close and the two armies are mostly dead. Very cool to see Inquisitor Greyfax in action, as I'm seriously considering getting the Triumvirate of the Imperium (just picked up the Primarch one yesterday).

One thing I will mention is that I think that Valkyrie was shooting too many weapons per turn. Flyers can shoot 4 weapons, and the Valk had its multilaser, the two Heavy Bolters, and the two Rocket Pods all firing at the same time, so 5 weapons. Unless both rockets count as one weapon or something. It was nice to see a Valkyrie in play, though, as that is another model I'm thinking about picking up for my own Inquisitor (or Greyfax if and when I pick up her model).

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

Yeah this was a nail biter! I really had no idea how it was going to end up! Greyfax is very good at what she does and would make a great Inquisitorial asset. Also all the models from that Triumvirate (or all the Triumvirates really) are super cool looking!
You might be right about the Valkyrie ... My bad :-P ... But it is a pretty good unit, especially for the price!

Valkyrie is great for the price.
