The Skink Priest from the Seraphon army has
Celestial Rites allowing him to provide re-rolls to one unit within 8 inches, or
all units within 8 inches if he carries Priestly Trappings. The rules are worded as follows:
Celestial Rites: In your hero phase, a Skink Priest can perform a rite to harness the power of the cosmos. If it does so, roll a dice. If the result is 4 or more, pick a SERAPHON unit within 8''. You can re-roll charge rolls, run rolls and armor saves for that unit until your next hero phase.
Priestly Trappings: A Skink Priest wearing Priestly Trappings affects all SERAPHON units from your army within 8'' when performing a celestial rite, rather than a single unit.
So... correct my interpretation if I'm wrong, but am I to understand that the units that can make re-rolls thanks to Priestly Trappings are those that
were within 8'' of the Priest in the previous hero phase? Regardless of their current distance from him when they make a charge roll, run roll or save roll that needs re-rolling?
Or is that more of a constant bubble of re-rolls that follows the Priest?
