Hey so my freind collects blood angels and built a predator with a heavy bolter and a heavy flamer on each side, he said he was allowed because the box cover had it but looking at the rules it said something like "A predator may take one weapons to put on it's sponsons", to me this suggests to me that you chose one to put on each sponson.
But would should I do if this is the case? He's already firmly glued it on, should I make him pay both the costs and let him use it? Should I make him just choose one which now represents both weapons? Should I just say tough luck and not allow him to use it?
Also how many weapons can you have on it? I saw him have the side sponsons, he had a big gun on top (not a lasgun, think its anpther heavy bolter), but then ontop of that he had a guy with a comi-bolter? (Or the space marine equivalent, like the gunners on rhinos).

According to Codex Baal Predator may take:

May take two side sponsons which are both armed with one of the following:
- Heavy bolers ..pts
- Heavy Flamers... pts

Unless he is using different datasheet for Baal Predator he is not allowed to take two different sponsons.

In addition to Main Gun and Sponsons Baal Predator is allowed to also take Strom Bolter and Hunter-Killer Missile.
