Looking to make an unbound competitive 750 points list for a tournament, list needs to be adaptable and resilient - here it is so far

ELITES - Two dreadnoughts, one with Power Fist (built in heavy flamer) and Assault Cannon, the other with Twin Linked Las-Cannon and and Missile Launcher

ELITES - Five man Terminator squad, all with Storm Bolter and Power Fist - Captain with Storm bolter and Power Sword

HEAVY SUPPORT - Land Raider Redeemer

TROOPS - Five man Space Marine Squad with Bolters

Any suggestions on how to make it better? I have a limited model range to choose from (Space Marine Captain, The other half of the Tactical Squad), also let me know if there are any units I should worry about fighting with this list

Correct me if i'm wrong but im fairly certain Unbound lists aren't generally accepted at tournaments

Yes normally, but this is just an event at my local GW store - so they told me unbound is ok

Okay. so a few things to note. you started by specifying you wanted competitive; yet throw a huge proportion of points into terminators in a land raider. while viable? I'd hardly call that a competitive option.

What are the Tacticals doing? if you're playing unvbound I see no reason to even take a 5man combat squad, because while I like them? thats 70pts with virtually zero damage output.

dual dreadnoughts are an interesting choice. I like them, but again wouldn't consider them a particularly competitive option.

Things you should consider doing at 750pts unbound.
-Grav. This is your go-to unit eraser. in an unbound tournament, people will show up with Wraithknights, Riptides, Wraithguard, Thunderwolves, maybe Bloodthirsters, Imperial knights etc. that will require heavier firepower than you currently possess.

-Mobility. aside from the land raider with terminators, your list is hella static. if there's objectives, you're in trouble.

I'd say this list is firmly mid-tier, pure Armour saturation should afford you some survivability, but against competitive or "cheesy" lists designed to abuse the unbound format I'd be concentrating on not getting tabled.

- UPDATE -

This is a Kill Point scenario, so focusing on tough units with big damage outputs

Thanks for the feedback I'm thinking of dropping the tac squad and probably one of the dreadnaughts in favour of Grav Centurions and bikes, what do you think? (No objectives in this tournament, just focusing on Kill Points)
