Hey Darkstar! A classic model and I quite like the Heresy-era TS scheme. The runes are a nice detail, too! I do feel like the flesh could use a bit more depth, though; perhaps a wash to bring out the shaded areas? Nonetheless a sweet job!

Thank You r3n3g8b0y, For Your comments. I worked for about a couple hours to bring the daemon prince model to finish all together. I thought making him look like a Heresy Thousand Son type of model would match up good with all the other Thousand Son models I have done. I can then field a matching force using the Chaos Marine Codex. I have been using the Burning of Prospero Water Slide Transfers to decorate all Thousand Sons my models. I agree that I do need to hit the flesh tones with a better wash and then bring them back up with a high light, so I reckon I did not bring him to finish yet. I am happy with how the base looks and the majority of the model though. The model actually started out with an Alpha Legion color scheme of Navy Blue & Silver trim & filigree but I stripped the model of all the paint that would come off then gave the model an Air Brush Spray Prime Coat using Tamiya Flat Black Acrylic.

I echo the previous reply in this thread, I really like the symbols. Very good work on your Daemon Prince- if I can make a suggestion, when photographing models, maybe stand it on a piece of white paper that curves behind to form a simple backdrop- you'll get much better colour that way. I have no doubt the colours are more vivid in real life, but they look a but muted in these photos. And maybe some brighter edge highlighting on the sword?
