Hey Guys, first time post, Im a little confused and all the googling in the world cant help me. So Im building an Emperors Children CAD, Can i also take the "Disciples of Mannon" Formation (which is a Crimson Slaughter Formation) in my army too? I know that this formation will not benefit from my Emporers children special rules, I just wanted to know if i can legally include it in my Emperors Children army. Thank you guys.

Yep, no problem. It also won't be part of any EC detachment though, just part of your army.
You can include as many detachments as you want, formatiosn being a type of detachment. Check pages 116 to 119.
