Looks solid.

You can never cover all your bases at 500 points, but you have a reasonable TAC list.

I might take the 10 points for the extra armor on the dread and use them to upgrade the flamer to a grav gun. And then change the combi to match.

This list worked really well, I only lost the Razorback

As an initial list, it looks solid, but here are the changes thta I personally would make:

-- Get rid of the Combi-Flamer on the Tactical Squad

-- Get rid of the Melta Bombson the Scout Squad

-- Get rid of the Extra Armour on the Dreadnought

-- Replace the Multi-Melta on the Dreadnought with an Assault Cannon.

-- Replace the Multi-Melta on the Landspeeder Storm with an Assault Cannon.

Here's why:

Anything that your opponent brings in a 500-Point-Game that requires the use of a Multi-Melta in order to destroy can almost exclusive be either be:

-- Ignored; or
-- Focused by all of your Firepower;

Either way, it will (chances are) be destroyed within two turns. And especially when it comes to Dreadnoughts, I dislike leaving the Multi-Melta on there because it's only one shot and it is not Twin-Linked, meaning that it - at least in my experience as well as based on the Batreps I've seen - the Multi-Melta is pretty damn useless. Yes, it may get off the shot you need and destroy that enemy vehicle exactly like you wanted it to, but that's a big if for such a weapon, especially in a 500-Point game.

As for Melta-Bombs, I've only ever rated them as something worth putting in your list if you can put them on a unit that is not only has a half decent chance of getting into a combat scenario where they'll be useful but also in a unit where they can work (and I can safely say that neither units that you've put Melta Bombs on are geared more towards killing Vehicles).

Librarians are solid. I use one in all the 500 point marine lists i play. I would try centurions over the dread if you have them. It may just be me but ive never had luck with dreads and always had grav cannon centurions be solid.

Congrats on your win!

What id' say is keep playing with the list you have now. Never change a list straight off just because you lose one game.

If you lose consistently then start changing.
